"THE LADY OF WHITE"
Pallid but certainly beautiful enough to "dazzle" any man, Silvia, "the lady in white" appeared at a dance held at the top of the hill of Memory. According to people who witnessed that scene a little more than 50 years ago, the woman left the room and without hesitation, she approached a man from what she called from a distance. Once he took the arm, he went with him to the dance floor to dance. The stories indicate that at that precise moment that boy lost the notion of time and space. He enjoyed the dance without realizing that no one else was involved in this one. Thus passed the night, or at least that is what the man thought. The moment arrived that Silvia, without stopping, stopped. He asked to take her home, the young man resisted but after seeing the desperation she had for himself, he agreed. On the way to the home of "the lady in white," the girl said she was cold and this was enough for her companion to take off the jacket that is meant to lend her. The woman continued walking, down the great steps of the hill of Memoria and directed a dance couple to the cemetery. The man, disbelieving at what he saw and noticing that the woman was colder than usual, kept walking. It was then that the beautiful lady with whom minutes before had passed a beautiful moment stopped in front of a tomb and affirmed that she is alive. The young man was silent, and few seconds were enough for the woman to disappear. The jacket with which the man covered with cold rose just above that tomb. Legend has it that when he reacted, the boy ran out of the graveyard. He went to the hill of Memory to ask his friends but in that place did not find anyone, in fact those who attended that night to such a party say that this was not canceled. Days later, once the boy was able to overcome the impact of what had happened, he went to the young man's house. There it confirmed that the lady had died weeks ago when returning from a dance in Topolobampo. There are several versions of that story that over time became a legend among the community of Los Mochis, but all agree that the woman still wanders the streets.
